  一幅美好的畫，不在顏色優美
  欣賞者只要能夠「澄心靜慮」去面對畫幅，則當一切俗念皆除之際，好的畫作自然便會傳達一種情緒給欣賞者。
  這種情緒，差不多就可以稱為畫作的「意境」了。但它卻仍然並不能完全代表畫的「意境」，因為畫作者心中的意念，跟欣賞者可能依然有「隔」。這亦是無可奈何的事，因為不可能有絕對相同的思想與感情。而且，年齡、身世、學養、人品，種種足以影響「意境」表達的因素，欣賞者亦未必能夠完全領會。只不過這樣也就夠了──只要一幅畫能傳達一種情緒給欣賞者，這幅畫便至少不是一張徒然只有色彩線條的花紙。
