上個學期沒有修讀哲學的課﹐改行走了去讀經濟學。我一直對博奕理論(game theory)深感興趣﹐可惜多次嘗試看書自修也半途而癈﹐結果還是要找人教才是最有效的學習方法。博奕理論與我主修的道德和政治哲學也有密切關係﹐哲學家正嘗試利用博奕理論去解釋社會契約的建立﹐用理性的架構去推論何謂道德和公義。… [...] 
我小時候是宮崎駿的忠實擁躉﹐他每套動畫我看過十數篇﹐故事能夠如數家珍地倒背出來﹐家中還珍藏了電影的日文正版畫集。不知道現在是我年紀老了﹐還是他的動畫轉趨幼兒向﹐看他的新作再沒有以前看「風之谷」和「天空之城」的感動﹐只剩下像看無線垃圾電視劇般的慣性收視。「崖上的金魚公主」上映已超過多一年﹐終於放長假想不到和老婆看什麼戲才拿出來看﹐可見宮崎駿對我已經失去非看不可的吸引力。… [...] 
機動戰士高達面世三十年﹐除了養起笨大這間玩具廠外﹐還養活不少週邊產品的製作人員。除了固定每兩年出一套用全新世界觀高達動畫外﹐元祖高達UC宇宙紀元的外傳故事更是長出長有。一套動畫竟然可以獨立出月刊雜誌﹐專門報導有關高達的資訊﹐連載發表新的外傳故事﹐也可以說創造出一個完全架空歷史的世界。「天空的學校」在「高達ACE雜誌」連載﹐當年是創刊號的重點招萊﹐想不到轉眼間已經過了十個年頭﹐前後總共出版了十一集單行本﹐雖然目前還在連載中﹐但結局已經呼之欲出﹐想短期內應該會完結。… [...] Hong Kong is so behind in the progress of democracy. 笑星Sacha Baron Cohen的電影總是非常出位﹐踩在政治不正確的綱線之上。前作「波叔出城」扮演反同志的保守主義者﹐今次則反過來扮從奧地利來闖荷里活的基佬。電影內容極盡核突低俗﹐不單只兒童不宜觀看﹐成人也不適宜觀看。不過若果不介意嘔心的話﹐也不禁佩服電影導演想出如此另類笑料﹐觀眾不知應該給驚嚇還是大笑的反應。… [...] 
周星馳的「大內密探零零發」是港產喜劇的經典﹐十多年後導演王晶竟然自己抄自己﹐換上古天樂和徐熙蕾作主角﹐源用舊有故事公式配上王晶式的招牌笑料﹐炒出一碟山寨版「大內密探零零狗」。這次翻拍大內密探﹐很難與周星馳版本作比較﹐反正看王晶的電影不會有任何期望﹐笑足九十分鐘散場便算合格收貨。… [...]
