Hating what you do

It is easy to keep the employees happy as long as they have hope and sense of control over their life. As long as the company is growing, making lots of money, have a deep profit margin and the employee benefits from the success, the employees will be happy. They may still complain about long work hours or lack of work-life balance, but at least they can choose take it or leave it.

Maybe we should go back to the old fashion 3 party system. Outlaw the separatist Bloc Quebecois, merge the Green Party with NDP. Then we can have a more meaningful election. Too bad that the Conservative is unlikely to win a majority government anytime soon.

Some teachers are boring, some teachers are not. Some games are boring and some are not. Replacing classroom with games alone won’t solve the problem how to motivate students to learn in the first place. Force to sit quietly inside a classroom is bad, force to play a boring game is even worse!
