說起道德﹐很多人會聯想起性行為﹐婚外情等題目﹐其實這些只是道德的一小部份。道德很笵圍很廣泛﹐讓我們分辨什麼事情是對﹐什麼事情是錯﹐什麼是善﹐什麼是惡。我這個學期修讀了道德哲學課﹐探討什麼是道德這個問題。雖然這課道德哲學是一年級的課程﹐但不是那種幾百人的大班﹐只有三十多人的小班。讀哲學不能擠在巨型講室單向接收課本內容﹐學生必須與教授在課堂內有互動討論。不過一年級學生大多數很少發問﹐不知是害羞還是無心向學﹐上課時更有不少人拿著手提電腦上網。反而我們幾個兼讀的成年人﹐上堂前讀熟指定閱讀課文﹐是堂上與教授討論的中流扺柱﹐令到課堂的氣氛活潑不少﹐沒有大班教學那麼沉悶。… [...] Today, I went to Whistler to start my skiing season. 說起「英雄」很多人會聯想到李連杰歌頌暴君的那套舊電影﹐但此「英雄」非彼「英雄」﹐這套是去年美國NBC電視台最受歡迎的科幻連續劇。話說有天我約了位靚女吃飯﹐吃完飯問她有沒有時間喝杯東西﹐她竟然說要趕回家追看電視劇集。這足以引起一向很少看電視的我的興趣﹐看看到底這套劇集有什麼魔力。回家後我馬上下載第一季﹐不看猶自可一看不可收捨﹐兩天內看完二十四集。從此以後每個星期一﹐我也乖乖地下載新一集﹐追看劇情的最新發展。… [...] I had worked under this VP for 7 years and I never seen him smile. 平常我們香港人看外國電影﹐總愛笑大陸的譯名改得老土。今次卻剛好相反﹐Futurama在大陸譯作「飛出個未來」﹐很正常貼題的一個名字﹐香港則譯作「乃出個未來」﹐改得完全不知所謂。很慶幸我是看英文原片﹐不是看香港的配音版本。看見這個不知所謂的譯名﹐大慨可以想像到劇中的對白會給人改到面目全非。… [...]

當一個導演成名之後﹐就不用受制於幕後老闆的商業條件﹐可以擁有較高的自由度﹐去拍攝他心中的理想電影。可惜導演想拍的電影﹐未必是觀眾想看的電影。有閒情雅緻去看藝術電影的人﹐畢竟只是一小撮電影觀眾。一直以來我也十分喜歡彭浩翔的電影﹐尤其欣賞天馬行空的黑色幽默。他在「出埃及記」中嘗試發掘新風格﹐很多影評大讚電影中的藝術元素﹐把彭浩翔捧為黃家衛的接班人。老實說﹐我不懂欣賞什麼細緻畫面﹐凌厲影像﹐構圖意境。對於我來說﹐「出埃及記」是一套超級沉悶的電影﹐我按著極大的耐性﹐心懷對彭浩翔的敬意﹐才可以挨到完場。… [...] Vancouver is having its first snow fall of this winter. 禪是一個很玄的東西﹐雖然我在香港長大﹐自幼耳濡目染中國文化思想﹐對這個佛家的名詞並不陌生﹐可是總不能很確切地說出禪到底是什麼。或許正如很多人說一樣﹐禪並不能像西方哲學般有系統地學習﹐只能身體力行去感受並領悟其中的道理。我在逛網上的書藉論壇時﹐很有緣地遇上這本「弓和禪… [...] |
